We Welcome Mr. Sergio Arispe – the Ambassador of Bolivia in India as our Special Guest for the Inaugural of EVREX 2nd Edition.

Dear Readers,

Greetings!!💐

It gives us immense pleasure to inform you all that Mr. Sergio Arispe – the Ambassador of Bolivia in India is participating as our Special Guest in our upcoming event – 2nd Edition of EVREX – India’s Prominent Electric Vehicles & Renewable Energy Expo going to be held on 13th & 14th Of November 2018 at HITEX Exhibition Center, Hyderabad, India.

He will also be speaking as a Guest Speaker about the E-mobility – Business opportunities and strategic partnership between Bolivia & India.

The following is his brief profile, which indeed is impressive, interesting and inspiring saga of successful journey in the field of Renewable Energy, Environment Law and E-Mobility.

Ambassador Sergio Arispe is a lawyer with specialization in Public Policy and Environmental Law. He has represented Bolivia in multiple UN forums (UNFCCC, CBD, and SDGs), participating in various negotiations leading towards the Paris Accord (COP21). He’s also channeled and promoted credit line access from various multilateral financing institutions like IDB and CAF to major infrastructure projects in Bolivia.

He’s technical background has taken him from the constitutional process Bolivia went through in 2009 to addressing water shortages in 2016 with the Ministry of Water and Environment.

Bolivia presently is changing its energy matrix from fossil fuelled thermal generators to hydroelectric generation. It is keenly aware of the adaptation measures it must address, generating financial capacities to be able to be more resilient to the reality of Climate Change.

Bolivia, in this regard is keenly aware of an existing void in terms of having a true Global Climate Fund, making financing the needs, size and scope of adaptation infrastructure and technology transfer towards developing countries a pending issue.

We thank Ambassador Sergio Arispe for being a part of EVREX 2nd Edition.
